Prof. Kamaludeen Mohamed Nasir is a professor of Comparative and Global Sociology at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is the author of seven books, including The Future of Singapore: Population, Society and the Nature of the State. His work on education, identity, and social class examines how Singaporeans navigate a highly regulated educational system.
