Empowering the Future: A Homeschool Community Journey into AI

On April 11, 2026, the Hong Kong Homeschool Association (HSA) will join hands with Aspire Church to host a special AI Education Talk for homeschool students. Led by AI expert Kenny Tang, this event is designed to equip our young learners with the knowledge and confidence they need to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving AI era.

Creating the event poster became a beautiful reminder of what collaboration truly means. I designed it with the help of AI, but when I ran into technical challenges inserting the Aspire Church and HSA logos, people stepped in with kindness. Dr. Samuel helped place the Aspire logo, and Kenny’s secretary used AI tools to restore the HSA logo. The final poster is not just a piece of design—it is a testament to teamwork, generosity, and the power of technology used with heart.

To speak honestly, without AI it would be incredibly difficult to sustain the work of the Hong Kong Homeschool Association with our very limited manpower. AI has become a true partner—lightening our workload, strengthening our operations, and opening new possibilities for our students to learn with confidence and curiosity. This upcoming free AI education talk is our way of passing that empowerment forward. It aims to equip the entire homeschool community with the latest AI knowledge, supporting both the teaching journey of homeschool educators and the learning journey of homeschool students as they step into the future.

But this event is more than an educational talk. It is an offering of kindness, a wave of positive energy made possible by volunteers, partners, and the compassion of Hong Kong society. Moments like this remind me why I love Hong Kong so deeply—because our city is still full of people who care, who help quietly, and who believe in lifting one another up.
