Don’t Leave Anything for Later

In Hong Kong, parenting often feels like a race against time. From the moment a child is born, parents are told to prepare—prepare for interviews, prepare for assessments, prepare for competition. Childhood becomes a countdown, and parents are constantly warned that if they don’t act now, their child will “fall behind.”
But from my homeschooling journey with my daughter Paris, I’ve learned something different: don’t leave anything for later.
Don’t leave our child’s wellbeing for later — stress grows greater.
Don’t leave their joy for later — childhood won’t wait for later.
Don’t leave your relationship for later — distance only grows wider.
Choose now, not later — love makes childhood brighter.
