Laura Joelson is a former educator in the United States and a world schooling parent to one adventurous and curious child. As a world schooling family, they have traveled throughout the Balkans, Europe, and Southeast Asia, creating unique learning experiences along the way. Their goal with both homeschooling and world schooling is for the family to become citizens of the world and create lasting relationships in the communities they visit. They aim to build long-lasting friendships with the people they meet and encourage their daughter to be a lifelong learner who understands that learning does not just take place in a traditional classroom but in the world that surrounds us. As members of their organization, Laura wants to encourage and also be a resource for families who want to travel with their children.
