Among them was Danielle Jonsson, a courageous and experienced mother who had successfully homeschooled her children, equipping them with confidence and knowledge to thrive. Danielle, a devoted church leader alongside her husband, who hails from Denmark, had traveled to different countries to help establish church systems before settling in Hong Kong.

In October 2023, Danielle and Dr. Lai finally met, and it was as if two passionate and determined forces had aligned. Danielle, deeply inspired by Dr. Lai’s remarkable achievements and steadfast commitment to education, encouraged her to step into the role of homeschool leader in Hong Kong.
